The lock works like normal.Low Temp Operation: Alkaline batteries stop working as the water-based electrolyte freezes. Therefore, the lock will lose power somewhere around 32° F (0° C). However, since the batteries are on the interior side of the door, they should not be subject to freezing temperatures.Please avoid usage in ANY application where the interior (battery side) is exposed to weather.",
